About Michael Rauth MBA, CFP®, RICP®

After growing up in Michigan, I attended the University of Notre Dame, graduating with a degree in electrical engineering & earned an MBA from the University of Southern Maine where I most enjoyed my courses in investing and economics. I also have a certificate in Financial Planning from Northwestern University. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, I hold the CFP® designation and the RETIREMENT INCOME CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL® (RICP®) designation from The American College of Financial Services. I have worked as a petroleum engineer and an integrated circuit designer. I also ran several businesses for large electronics companies as a Senior Director.

I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and gardening. I love to travel and experience new places, cultures and food. I play guitar not very well but enjoy it anyway. My wife and I live in Maine and enjoy frequent visits from our children and grandchildren.

Start with a Retirement Assessment

If you are not ready for a long-term financial planning relationship, North Haven offers a Retirement Assessment service. This service can be completed in a few weeks and helps you decide if ongoing retirement planning is right for you. It answers common questions about your retirement readiness and provides a retirement roadmap for you. We will have two meetings. At the first, we will gather information and discuss your needs. We then analyze your situation and prepare your assessment with specific recommendations. In meeting two, we will explain the recommendations. You will also have 30-day access to our financial planning portal to make changes and test different assumptions.

The fee for the Retirement Assessment is $3000.
